Looking for a New Place to Live? Try Wyoming

Jackson hole real estate

The state of Wyoming has a great deal to offer in terms of the home buying process. From simple little ranches to high end log homes, Wyoming has a variety to choose from. Not only do they have a selection of home architecture styles (including those luxury log homes!), but the state has many bonuses to moving, either your family or your business, to Wyoming.

In terms of business, whether you want to open an ice cream stand, or take advantage of the home buying process and go into commercial real estate, Wyoming welcomes you with open arms. For seven years in a row, Wyoming was named one of the Best Places to Do Business by Bloomsberg. The largest sources of revenue in Wyoming are tourism and mineral extraction, and any business in the state can enjoy one of the lowest tax burdens in the entire country. The same can be said about personal tax burden. Wyoming’s falls as the second lowest in the whole nation! Now that is reason alone to move to Wyoming. How can it be? Well, Wyoming actually has no personal or business income tax. This makes it voted one of the best places to do business in the United States.

As for a family moving to Wyoming, you have much to look forward to, aside from the hassle of the home buying process, that is. Say you want to look into Jackson, Wyoming for a new place to live. Bring everyone, because Jackson’s crime rate is only 150. That is less than half of the national average, which sits at 306. Looking for something to do in Jackson? Well, save up your allowance, because Jackson has a fun and unique activity that takes place on the third Saturday of May each year. On that day, in Jackson Town Square, you will find the world’s only public auction of elk antlers! These antlers are safely and naturally shed each year by the elk in the National Elk Refuge. Once they have fallen off of the elk, roving bands of Boy Scouts go in and collect the antlers. Only seven Boy Scouts have died by elk attack to date! (just kidding) As the antlers are auctioned off, all of the proceeds go to benefit the elk feeding program. A fun, different event for a good cause!

So if you are looking to sporadically up and move, or even if this is something that you have given a great deal of thought to, please consider Wyoming. A quiet, unassuming state that would love to have you be a part of its culture, its tradition, its business and its family. And do not forget the lack of corporate and personal income tax! That is a selling point if I have ever heard one. Read more like this. Reference links. Read more blogs like this.
