Once they have fallen off of the elk, roving bands of Boy Scouts go in and collect the antlers. Only seven Boy Scouts have died by elk attack to date! (just kidding) As the antlers are auctioned off, all of the proceeds go to benefit the elk feeding program. A fun, different event for a good cause!
So if you are looking to sporadically up and move, or even if this is something that you have given a great deal of thought to, please consider Wyoming. you never really hear much about Wyoming, do you? it was cool to hear some good stuff that i had never heard before, and therefore would make me consider it as a destination if i were to move to the mid west
